1- LLB and Diploma prerequisite is obtaining the secondary school cer􀆟ficate or its equivalent according to the criteria set by the school. The LLM prerequisite is a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) according to the rules provided in the appropriate regula􀆟ons and the School’s decisions.

2- Secondary school cer􀆟ficates – whether from private or public schools, or Arabic or English schools – from Kuwait, GCC, and other Arab countries are acceptable provided they are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Educa􀆟on and Ministry of Educa􀆟on in the State of Kuwait according to each case.

3- The applicant must have a high school diploma or its equivalent (recognized by the Ministry of Educa􀆟on and Higher Educa􀆟on) with a percentage not less than:
– 70% for applicants to study a Bachelor of Law, for the scien􀆟fic and literary departments.
– The announced rate for transfers for each degree separately.
– 2.5 points for students with Bri􀆟sh system or American system cer􀆟ficates.
– A law diploma with a minimum average of 2.00 points.

4- Successfully pass the personal interview.

5-Pass the entry test in English and in Arabic according to the grades determined by the Board of Trustees. These tests are taken into account in determining the level. In all cases, the student is obligated to pass two English language courses (6 credits).

6- The student who has obtained a score of 500 in the TOEFL test, and/or a score of 5.5 in the IELTS test and/or has obtained an excellent score in the Arabic language in the secondary cer􀆟ficate shall be taken into considera􀆟on for admission. The student is not exempted from the entry test provided by the School, whatever the result in these tests.

7-Selec􀆟on among the applicants is on the basis of compe􀆟􀆟on according to the capacity for each academic degree separately.

8- The capacity that is determined annually by the Board of Trustees in light of the School’s capability and spa􀆟al capacity on the one hand, and the needs and requirements of academic degrees granted by the School on the other hand.

9- Accep􀆟ng applica􀆟ons for the scholarships is according to the number and condi􀆟ons determined by the Private Universi􀆟es Council, at the request of the School.

10- Transfer applica􀆟ons to the School are accepted star􀆟ng from the first year of the commencement of study in the School for those wishing to study in the first year, and the second year only. Transfer applica􀆟ons for other years are accepted only when the specified year is underway, taking into account School capacity, the transferred rules and the maximum credits to be transferred.

11-The transferred student shall receive credit for the courses that the School administra􀆟on has agreed to equate. The maximum number of the equated units shall not exceed 45 units.

12- Applicants should fill in an applica􀆟on form within the given period for applica􀆟ons either in person during working hours or online. Those who apply online should follow up their applica􀆟ons in person, data provided in the applica􀆟on form are believed to compulsory

13- The priority, while considering applica􀆟ons for admission, is given to new high school graduates compared to others who graduated two or three years ago. Applicants of other qualifica􀆟on are of less considera􀆟on
